Winsloe-Charlottetown Royals FC annually awards two student-player scholarships which recognize excellence and achievement in soccer, academics and community involvement, and is pleased to announce this year's winners of its Student-Player Scholarships: Nicole Doncaster and Connor MacDonald.

 

Nicole has been involved at WCRFC as a player, coach and volunteer, and was a member of both Provincial and Canada Games teams.  She played for the Mount Allison Mounties women's soccer team during the 2019-20 season, and will be returning to Mount Allison this fall for her second year, studying psychology and biology.  Connor played for WCRFC for many years, assisted with the Timbits program, and was a member of several provincial soccer teams.  He played for the UPEI Panthers men's soccer team in 2019-20 and is returning to UPEI this fall for his second year in the business program.

 

WCRFC would like to congratulate Nicole and Connor on their past achievements and wish them the best in their futures.  WCRFC would also like to thank the sponsors for this award which include Capital Honda and the Melis Visser family.
